SEPTEMBER ACTIVITIES

* Study: Family, Friends, Apples

* Science Emphasis: Apples

* No School:  Thurs., Sept. 23^rd

* Apple Field Trip: Fri., Sept. 24^th – Eckert’s in Millstadt (Leave 9 A.M. & return 1 P.M.)

  Bring lunch and a drink. Please have children wear field trip shirts.  An adult must accompany

  every child.  Cost - $16.50

* Cooking Experience – Making applesauce

* Parents’ Night:  Wed., September 29^th – 7 P.M.  (Please note that the original date for Parents’

   Night for our T./Th. Class WAS Sept. 30^th… We have changed the date to Wed., Sept. 29^th!)

 

OCTOBER ACTIVITIES

* Study:  Pumpkins and Halloween

* Science Emphasis:  Study of insects, spiders and bats

* School Pictures:  Tues. Oct. 5^th

* Family Fun Night:  Thurs., Oct. 14^th – 6:30-7:30 P.M.  (Faith Hall)

* No School:  Thurs., Oct. 21

* Field Trip to St. Louis Zoo Insectarium – Fri., Oct. 22^nd (Leave 9:15 A.M. and return 11:45 A.M.)

  Please wear field trip shirts.

* Halloween Party:  Thurs., Oct. 28^th – Children dress in costumes.

NOVEMBER ACTIVITIES

* Study:  Native American Indians, the Harvest and Thanksgiving

* Science Emphasis: Patterning, Indian symbols, woodland animals and their tracks

* No School :  Thurs., Nov. 11^th – Veteran’s Day
